Quantis is one of the world’s leading consultants in the field of life cycle assessment (LCA). Founded in Lausanne in 2006, Quantis has approximately 80 employees working in its offices located in Switzerland, France, Canada and the United States.

Quantis’s team includes world-renowned experts in the field of LCA. In addition to maintaining close ties to the scientific research community, Quantis participates in numerous research collaborations. This involvement allows Quantis to work with all types of organizations to measure, analyse and manage the environmental impact of their respective activities.

Quantis uses a global approach for environmental impacts (for example, climate change, water or biodiversity) that takes into account each life cycle stage for an event, company or product.

In our case, this approach serves to evaluate environmental impacts related to the event, to take effective action to address the main impacts, as well as to increase partner and spectator awareness by inviting everyone to take part in this environmental initiative.

The measured impacts include the carbon footprint, the water footprint, ecosystem quality, natural resource use and human health consequences.

Quantis has conducted a preliminary LCA for this event and has recommended a number of solutions that will allow us to limit our impacts. They will work with us to help us to achieve this goal. After the event, Quantis will perform a full LCA of the event and detail the efforts made to limit environmental impacts. The results of this study will be made available to the public.
